Mobile Alabama Extreme Makeover Team to Announce Winners at Gala Event to be held at the Bienville Club on January 30, 2004 at 6:30 pm
Mobile, AL (PRWEB) January 29, 2004 -- Extreme makeover gala announcement event held in Mobile, Alabama, January 30, 2004 at 6:30 pm.
The popular ABC TV nationally syndicated phenomenon Extreme Makeover will soon have its counter part version as Mobile presents its OWN EXTREME MAKEOVER. The same services and procedures seen on the popular national TV program are available right here on the Gulf Coast.
One fortunate individual will be announced as the recepient of a complete cosmetic makeover that will include plastic surgery, dental cosmetics, hair, makeup, and wardrobe along with health and fitness improvements. A runner up will also receive a mini makeover with less extensive services. Awards for the guests will be held at the Bienville Club, Friday January 30, 2004 at 6:30 pm. during the gala announcement event. Local celebrities will be present and the announcements will be made by Dan and Shelby of WKSJ Radio Mobile.
Many perks are being donated by local participating businesses and all the proceeds will go to charity. Dr Byron C. Scott, a well-known Mobile cosmetic/implant dentist and Dr Michael Lyons, a prominent Mobile cosmetic surgeon will be the doctors who head the team to transform the lives of these fortunate individuals. Dan and Shelby of WKSJ Radio will be among the panel of judges who will review the applications and videotapes submitted by the hopeful candidates.
Extreme Makeover Mobile will follow the experiences of our winners through the many different areas of personal improvement. As their lives are transformed, local media will cover the progress made and will be invited to attend the exciting "coming out gala finale" to be held in spring 2004. Dr Byron C. Scott states, "We have the capabilities here in Mobile to even surpass the miracles preformed by the national syndicated popular Extreme Makeover series. I am so excited about all the local enthusiasm and cooperation by many prominent businesses here in the Mobile area".
